Job Description
We are currently looking for Excavator Operators to join our team for operating an excavator in aggregate, crushing, and mining environments.
Main responsibilities:
Operate an excavator equipped with a hydraulic hammer to break oversized rock and material
Feed crushers and screening plants while maintaining a consistent material flow to optimize production
Load, move, stockpile, and manage aggregate materials as required
Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and complete required documentation
Monitor equipment performance and promptly report mechanical issues or maintenance needs
Work closely with crushing plant operators, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient operations
Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area;
Assist with other site-related duties as required

Required Skills & Role
Qualifications and skills sought:
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating excavators in heavy civil, mining, quarry, or aggregate operations
Experience operating excavators with hydraulic hammers/rock breakers
Experience feeding crushers and working around crushing and screening plants
Strong understanding of safe operating practices around mobile and stationary equipment
Valid driver’s licence
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
