Job Description


As a Licensed DZ/AZ Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, professional operation of NPS vehicles across client-driven projects, primarily operating Vac Trucks (Wet/Dry). The fleet includes roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, water hauling units, septic service vehicles, and portable sanitation equipment. 


Responsibilities: 


  • Safely operate NPS trucks, trailers, and related equipment in compliance with MTO, MOL, WSIB, and company standards; 

  • Complete waste and sewage pickup and disposal, roll-off bin delivery, portable toilet servicing, and potable/non-potable water hauling; 

  • Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections; 

  • Complete logbooks, CVOR documentation, and electronic reporting; 

  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep; 

  • Participate in yard, shop, and site maintenance; 

  • Follow company safety programs and site requirements; 

  • Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, clients, and crew members; 

  • Report hazards and equipment concerns; 

  • Represent NPS professionally; 

  • Support crew operations as required


Work Schedule: Full Time | Varying Hours & Schedule, OT Available. 

Wages & Benefits: Starting at $30.00/hour based on experience, certifications, and qualifications. Vacation Pay, Dental Care, Vision Care, Life Insurance. Note:

Required Skills & Role


  • Valid DZ licence required (AZ licence is a strong asset); 

  • Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience; 

  • Ability to provide a driver's abstract (MVR) and maintain an acceptable CVOR; 

  • Ability to pass criminal background checks, drug & alcohol testing, and Fit Test requirements; 

  • Physically capable of handling hoses, equipment, and working outdoors; 

  • Comfortable working variable hours, on-call schedules, and changing site conditions; 

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada; 

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently

  • Confined Space Entry; 

  • Fall Arrest 


NPS provides required training and certification for the role.
