Remote Position
Job Description
The responsibility of the Front Desk Attendant is to be the first point of contact for all initial inquiries by the clients and associates needing to be directed to services within the unit.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Provide hospitality reception services to the camp residents
Coordinate with other camp departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure all rooms are clean and well maintained
Ensure data stored in the system is current with respect to resident information, resident requests, room availability, check in/checkout information, as well as housekeeping/maintenance work orders
Perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion. Enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
Make change, accept acceptable forms of payment and issue receipts to customers. Follow standard procedures for cash handling
Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer follows overage/shortage standards
Complete daily and period reporting for management and clients
Perform other administrative duties and functions as required
Position requirements:
Shift: 10hr/Day
Rotation: 20 Days On/10 Days Off
Local applicants preferred

Qualifications:
2+ years of customer service and reception experience in a fast-paced demanding environment
Diploma in hospitality and hotel management is an asset
Exceptional customer service attitude and experience
Retail experience using point of sale system
Proven time-management and organization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Previous remote camp work in Food & Support Services
