Job Description
This position is only open to Band and Community Members of Netmizaaggmig Nishnaabeg First Nation.
Reporting to the Operations Manager of White Lake Resources Corporation, and ultimately the COO, temporary full time waste management worker will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a WLLP owned waste management vehicle to transport to pick up in community residential and commercial waste, transferring it to the dump in White River. This position is to cover the full-time responsibilities until a minimum of January 4 2027, with possibility of extension.
This position is based in Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg.
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Operations Manager
Perform mandatory Pre and Post vehicle inspections
Constantly monitor vehicle condition, and driving conditions
Care and maintenance of the interior and exterior of vehicle
Be able to take direction and communicate verbally
In community waste pick up and disposal
Performs other related duties as required
Required Skills & Role
Qualifications:
Valid class G driver’s license
Pass a pre-employment fit for duty test
Clean drivers abstract is required
