Job Description
Under the direction of White Lake LP immediate Supervisor, the labour position is based at the Hemlo mine site location. Various duties include but are not limited to segregation of hazardous and non hazardous waste materials, domestic garbage and recycling of materials. We are looking for someone who will commit to being part of a team, and is commitment to good attendance and work habits.
Duties:
Other surface jobs as requested
Use of shovels, brooms, buckets, wheelbarrows, vacuums
To use proper PPE at all times
Ability to work as part of a team
Lifting; repetitive and upwards of 55lbs
Working conditions:
Working under pressure and tight deadlines
Physically demanding
Working in all weather conditions
Working in and around noise
Dusty environment
Required Skills & Role
Must have Grade 12/equivalent or working towards OSSD
Pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and attend orientation
Must be able to pass the physical demand analysis for the position
Valid Class G Driver’s license is required, as the successful candidate will be responsible for getting to and from work for all scheduled shifts unless a resident of the NN community transportation is provided.
