WHAT THE JOB IS ALL ABOUT!

Sigfusson Northern Ltd. Is looking for two reliable and hands-on Camp Maintenance employees to help 

keep our camp facilities safe, clean, and operating efficiently. This position is responsible for completing 

daily inspections, performing routine maintenance and repairs, monitoring camp systems and utilities, 

and responding to maintenance needs as they arise. The successful candidate will work closely with 

camp management to address issues promptly and help ensure the camp remains a safe and 

comfortable environment for all employees. 

ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Complete daily inspections of camp buildings, washrooms, kitchens, mechanical rooms, and exterior areas. Identify and report problems promptly.

• Perform routine repairs to doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, flooring, and other camp facilities. Cut replacement keys as required

• Monitor heating, ventilation, air conditioning, hot water, water supply, and refrigeration, freezer equipment

• Multiple daily checks of wastewater holding tanks, ordering sewer trucks as required.

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance, cleaning, and basic equipment checks.

• Respond to maintenance requests and urgent issues in a timely manner, prioritizing problems that affect safety or camp operations.

• Keep walkways, entrances, stairs, and work areas safe and clear of snow, ice, debris, and other hazards.

• Maintain tools, supplies, spare parts, and maintenance records. Notify the supervisor when materials or outside service are needed.

• Coordinate access and assist licensed trades and service contractors with inspections, repairs, and equipment servicing.

• Follow camp safety procedures, equipment instructions, and applicable permits.

• Communicate completed work, outstanding issues, and equipment concerns to camp management at each shift handover
