Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the purchasing of materials and supplies;
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and delivery details;
Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, obtain quotes, confirm pricing, track order status, and resolve discrepancies or issues;
Prepare and manage purchase orders;
Verify receipt of goods and ensure orders are complete and accurate;
Monitor and maintain inventory levels;
Perform regular inventory counts, investigate and reconcile discrepancies;
Review and process returns, handle warranty and damage claims, and ensure all documentation is completed;
Perform other tasks as required;
Hours of Work/Rate of Pay: Full-time, permanent;
Typical hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; • Wage will be based on skills and experience
Required Skills & Role
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in retail or a purchasing position;
Experience using accounting systems to generate purchase orders and process invoices considered an asset
Working knowledge and experience with managing inventory using both manual and computerized systems;
Proficiency with Microsoft 365
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Good communication and interpersonal skills
