Monday to Friday – Day Shift – 40 hours per week

Canadian Tire Wawa Automotive Service Department is looking to hire a Licensed Mechanic.  We offer complete service and repair to all makes and models of vehicles. Special attention placed on preventative maintenance repairs, brakes, suspensions, front-end repairs, oil changes, wheel alignments, and tire balancing.

Responsibilities for Licensed Mechanic

•  Diagnose and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs. Includes investigating cause of malfunction by utilizing all available resources.
• Tire installation and balancing, oil changes, battery replacement, light bulb replacement, and filter replacement.
• Must be able to repair and complete the following with knowledge and experience: brakes, exhaust, tune-ups, cooling and all other general vehicle maintenance including front end work.
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience using diagnostic equipment as well as A/C Machine.
• Must be knowledgeable, able, and confident to communicate full diagnostics to the customer.
• Must be a team player
• Must maintain a safe working environment
• Must have Valid Driver’s License
