We are seeking an individual who loves working in the outdoors at a fly-in Lodge near White River Ontario to join our team as the Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be focused on ensuring all of the equipment required to operate the business is well maintained and operates efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Start up and maintain 2 diesel generators
• Set up and maintain water purification system
• Winterize and install outboard motors
• Perform maintenance and repairs on boats, motors, pumps, water tanks etc., as required
• Train maintenance support colleague to inspect equipment and troubleshoot or inform you of issues or potential issues
• Support dockhands with seasonal set up and removal of boats, motors and docks
• Support owner/operator with renovations and upgrades to Lodge, cabins and storage buildings

Requirements:

• Possess a positive attitude and exhibit a strong work ethic
• Hands on experience performing the same or similar tasks as highlighted above
• Pay attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task
• Be flexible and willing to take on various tasks as needed
• Be able to deal with unexpected situations
• Have a strong ‘figure it out’ ability
• Be team oriented and also enjoy working independently
• Have strong communication skills
