Job Description
Career Opportunity – Rock Truck Driver Wesdome Dam Raise
Location: Wesdome Mine Site
Schedule: 10 on and 4 off rotation 12-hour shifts travel on first day and last day
Hourly rate of pay: $35 with a $65 per day peridium
White Lake Limited Partnership, through a joint venture with LH North., is now recruiting for reliable and experienced Rock Truck Driver to our roster at the Wesdome mine site.
Reporting to the onsite Project Manager, the Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the truck.
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Project Manager
Perform mandatory Pre and Post vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork
Constantly monitor vehicle condition, site and driving conditions
Care and maintenance of the interior and exterior of vehicle
Be able to take direction and communicate verbally
Performs other related duties as required
Preference will be given to Band and Community Members of Netmizaaggmig Nishnaabeg First Nation. Please note that band members living on Reserve land may qualify for tax free income.
Required Skills & Role
Successful candidates must have surface common core and experience on Rock Truck
Must be willing to stay on site in camp accommodations with meals provided
