Make YOUR Move!
Find YOUR Path!
Build YOUR Future!
Looking for an opportunity that helps you build confidence, gain workplace skills, and get paid while doing it? The Regional Employment Help Centre (REHC) is offering a Youth Focused Pre-Employment Workshop Series designed to help young people take the next step toward employment and future career success.
This exciting program is open to youth between the ages of 18 and 29 who are currently out of school or graduating June 2026. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in 20 hours of paid pre-employment workshops focused on workplace readiness, employment skills, and building connections that can lead to future job opportunities.
The workshop series will run in two modules:
Module 1: June 8–11, 2026 from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Module 2: June 15–18, 2026 from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Participants will learn valuable skills that can help them prepare for the workforce, improve communication and professionalism, explore career pathways, and connect with local employment resources. Whether you are looking for your first job, planning your future career, or hoping to gain confidence entering the workforce, this program is designed to support your goals.
One of the best parts? Participants are paid to attend and learn. This is a great opportunity to gain practical employment knowledge while building connections in the community. As the program says: “Get paid to make connections and find work!”
Spaces may be limited, so interested participants are encouraged to register early. The registration deadline is June 1, 2026.
