Rate of pay:    $41.16/hr. in accordance with current collective bargaining agreement.

Schedule:   

• 12-hour shift (Wednesday to Tuesday)

• 7 on 7 off

• Rotational day and night shifts

• Holidays

• Overtime

Are you looking to join as a potential 3rd Class Operating Engineer at White River Forest Products- in White River, Ontario

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain low- and high-pressure steam systems;

• Operate and maintain environmental control equipment;

• Operate equipment to support various production units including pumps, compressors, water treatment systems, and HVAC equipment;

• Perform chemical analysis on process water and adjust systems to maintain operations, including the handling of reagents, chemicals, and chemical injection equipment;

• Operate and maintain gas testing equipment and participate in the issuance of Confined Space Entry Permits; incident and accident reports, as well as call in forms for absenteeism.

• Provide isolation, lockouts, clearances and hot work permits on Utilities systems and process equipment;

• Assist in the development of energy control procedures and safe work practices as well as standard operating procedures.

• Assist with maintenance planning and repair of equipment;

• Operate in accordance with all applicable procedures, policies, and regulations
