Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. Hauling Chips from White River to Thunder Bay and can get a trip to Sault Ste Marie. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Required Skills & Role
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
2 years experience is needed
Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety.
