Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential projects
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Run and terminate wiring, install panels, breakers, lighting, and devices
Ensure all work meets the Canadian Electrical Code and safety standards
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions
Coordinate with other trades and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized job site
Required Skills & Role
Valid 309A Electrical Contractor License (required)
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in residential work
Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and industry best practices
Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Own hand tools
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
