Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Rock Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating haul trucks to waste rock, and aggregate within a mine site. You’ll be working in a production-focused environment where safety, communication, and efficiency are key.

Required Skills & Role
Responsibilities:
Operate rock trucks safely and efficiently in a mining environment
Haul material (waste, aggregates) as directed
Perform daily pre-trip and equipment inspections
Maintain communication with supervisors and dispatch
Follow all site safety procedures and mine regulations
Assist with basic maintenance reporting and housekeeping of equipment
Work Environment:
Active mining operation
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
12-hour shifts (day/night rotation)
Camp-based living with full accommodations
Requirements:
Previous experience operating rock trucks (e.g., 25–40 ton wiggle wagons)
Experience in a mine or heavy civil environment preferred
Valid driver’s license (minimum Class G; AZ/DZ an asset)
Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
Ability to work rotational shifts and camp-based work
Strong understanding of safe work practices
Assets (Not Required but Preferred):
Common Core (Surface Miner) modules
Experience working on mine sites (gold, aggregate, or similar)
Heavy equipment experience (loader, dozer, excavator support work)
