HELP WANTED FOR 2024 SEASON

SHUTTLE DRIVER

Drive our truck/van or customer’s vehicle to shuttle hikers and paddlers to and from locations between Lake Superior Park, Pukaskwa Park and Wawa. Most trips are 3 – 5 hours and start from our base at the mouth of the Michipicoten River. We typically give you a week advance notice for shuttles.

Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and good driving record; friendly helpful nature and your own transportation to our site. No lifting required and no driving at night. Area knowledge is a bonus.

SITE MAINTENANCE

Lead others or help with site care, maintenance and construction on our site. Tasks include: help with spring opening/fall closing, repair and maintenance of sea kayak/canoes and paddle gear; maintaining vehicles/boat trailers in clean, safe operating condition; site and outhouse maintenance and minor building repair. Lunch included. Flexible hours. Work as little or as much as you wish.

Qualifications: Optimally past experience with basic construction, building repair. Physically active and able to lift moderate weights. Likes an organized space but able to function in a chaotic one. Fiberglass repair, basic plumbing, electrical knowledge is a bonus. An eye for what needs doing and initiative to do it. Enjoys work with and sharing knowledge/experience with younger people.

LODGE B&B HELP

Help with our lodge B&B kitchen (cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner; baking desserts, breads; dishes) and housekeeping of four rooms and living room and kitchen areas. Flexible hours – lunch included.

Qualifications: A desire to make clean, a love of cooking You’ll need your own transportation to our site.
